Ya know...sometimes I just get exasperated by the smallness of the minds of some of the elitists that inhabit the North Country,most of whom are NOT NATIVES, more specifically the "pseudo-hippies and pseudo intellectuals, and the poor starving college cuties in their Lexus or Mercedes or Escalade, or the NYC corner entrpreneur(that's dope peddlers for those of you who stopped learning in school at age 10) who is/are here because he/she may know how to dribble a basketball, or run a football or is extra needy because he/she can't speak english or his/her school was a danger zone and it was impossible to learn...or his/her home country can't afford to feed him, but he sure as hell can't spell either" but are well qualified to tell the rest of us how we SHOULD be living, and doing things yada, yada, yada...Ooops that's another rant...back to this one...Would you rather have pictures of the local slaughter house on NC Now...at least the meat is spiced up with all the miracle chemicals that science can provide, and it's cleaner...or....maybe you're a veggie...too bad...it'a a bear...he's dead...if he felt any pain at the time the arrow hit him, I'm quite sure it was over fairly quickly. seems like I forgot this place, but I've been so busy lately, getting the Jeep fixed after sittng, then getting it back from Oswego, getting it fixed again, keeping up with the 4 acres of grass I mow, yada, yada, yada...do I sound like I'm whining...

been doin' a lot of thinking about what to do with the Jeep...206K, is it too tired to go on, or do I keep after it until it is all new again???...decisions, decisions...I am thinking about some slight modifications to it...a better hitch, lift??...lights...but I also think now is the time to sell it along with the '93 as a package deal...a runner and all the spare parts...selling more stuff on eBay again...2 guitars an amp, some tractor parts...
Laura & Kev with Irina and Nathaniel, AKA Nate, will be in the states middle of July...looking forward to seeing them all..now I have a grandson to play trucks with...more later...

It's another cold rainy Sunday here on the Coast...

So...I did not get a mower running yet, in case anyone was wondering...I did however go into the city and resolve the problem I've had pertaining to my ability to drive an automobile...SWMBO is much happier now that she is relieved from having to drag my backside around on the weekends whilst I gather up the supplies necessary for the honey-do list...

reading today's bird cage liner I see Chuck is unhappy with the city fathers for their misunderstood grandiosity regarding the little used but expensive to operate Ice Arena. Sure am glad we have Art and Bill to look out for us taxpayers...oooops I don't live in the city anymore...guess it's you taxpayers...


What happened to the great idea about putting all the county offices in the that hideous building downtown...I heard the probation department is already moved out temporarily cuz the building inspector goofed up or something????? I sure Chuck will let us know soon enough...

random thoughts

After a short session with one of my LE friends during which I was ranting about the latest plea deal here in St. Lawrence county , I decided I needed to vent a little more.

It seems that this individual found himself a little short of funds one evening so in his infinite wisdom he decides, or perhaps someone dumber that he decided for him, that it would make sense to take his unlicensed handgun to the local corner gas n'go, (that's not really the name of the Shoppe, but you know), and use said handgun in an effort to secure a short term, non repayable loan. And he was successful, at least until his friends and probably some non-friends gave him up. He did get a sweet deal tho, 6 months in the county jail, yep, SIX MONTHS FOR ARMED ROBBERY in The Fancy New But Too Small County Lockup with bigger color TV's followed by 5 long arduous years on probation...you know about our probation department...if you don't show up after 6 months they might come looking for you...then you might get reprimanded and have to do a long 30 days or something which has no real benefit except to interrupt your drug dealing...

BTW, the new barrel in my 45 shoots good...and I did get the old Marlin out the other day for a few rounds...that gun is older that my mother...Hi Helen...

Yes dear readers this will be the way this blog is going..I will bitch, complain, and otherwise piss some of the people off...even SWMBO...and I apologize to my friends in LE and at Probation, and the other agencies throughout the county, state or nation; I'll try to include everyone in due time...
